Member of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (MSOM)
Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP)
As well as a long career in the NHS and later in the Private sector, Jo worked for England & GB Hockey, as the Physiotherapist for the U18 Boys Squad.
With this experience and training in extensive manual handling, soft tissue mobilisation and joint manipulation Jo has a very ‘hands-on’ approach to her assessment and treatment. She is passionate about the benefits of a ‘hands on’ approach and the multiple benefits it brings to both Physio and patient.
Jo enjoys problem solving and will endeavour to understand what your issues are and how best to help and move them forwards. She is passionate about helping with YOUR problem so will do her best to tailor the assessment and treatment to suit you and agree a treatment plan together.
Personal:
Jo has always been a keen sportswoman and has given most sports a go! She grew up dinghy sailing and later did a lot of yacht racing and cruising with her husband, qualifying as a Yachtmaster. The sailing drew her to the South Coast so moving to West Sussex in 2006 from South London. As well as sailing she has always skied, and in her spare time worked for the Ski Club of Great Britain and qualified as a Ski Instructor. Now when not working, Jo, a single figure golfer, will be found on the golf course, or at the range working on her technique!
