Dr Morgan originates from Wales but trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals in London before moving to Chichester in 2002. He worked in several different medical and surgical specialties, both in the UK and Australia, before specialising as a GP in 2007.

He worked as a GP in local practices for 10 years before accepting the post of GP Consultant at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust where he continues to work. This allows him to use his experience as a GP as well as an emergency physician to work in the emergency department and help develop and manage the Urgent Treatment Centres.

He has always had a passion for Sports and Exercise Medicine, achieving further specialist qualifications in this area and gaining Membership of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2018.

More recently he has trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound to enable more accurate diagnoses and treatments of muscular and joint conditions, in particular guided injectable therapies.

He has over 25 years experience working as a Doctor, dealing with a wide variety of general medical, emergency and musculoskeletal problems.

He strives to take an holistic approach to any medical problem, considering numerous therapeutic options to enable patients to be out of pain and return to doing the activities and sports they enjoy as soon as possible.
